The unvoiced thoughts and ideas of a septegenarian.

Greetings and welcome to my blog.  I hope you enjoy reading some of the entries as much as I enjoyed writing them.  You will not find politics or current events on this blog.   You will find an accumulation of thoughts, ideas, reflections about which I had never previously given voice.

This blog is an opportunity for me to break away from being a Wallflower – quietly sitting in the background, saying nothing, green with envy as she watches a cheerleader and a a jock tear up the dance floor.

For many years I was a writer/editor and now write fiction and some poetry. Three of my novels and a compendium of correspondence between me and an English professor can be found at free-online-novels.com  A few free-lance articles have been published in Jewish periodicals.

I live modestly in a suburb of Chicago and have three children and six grandchildren – my blue ribbons – none of whom needs a shrink – for which I am grateful.

I appreciate all comments made by readers adn cn be contacted at: julierose601@gmail.com.

Thanks for stopping by –  the door is always open.
